Review of Predestination (2013) by Debsuvra G — 08 Jul 2015
Yet another time travel movie, whew! I also rolled my eyes when I started with this one. And I almost thought everyone was Ethane Hawk in that movie, I won't explain more as it'll spoil everything.
Predestination is one of those Sci-fi movies without big names or big budgets but nevertheless manages to make you go whoa. I think the last one that I watched with similar qualifications was Moon. Very uncommon and rather highly non-linear, Predestination is definitely one of those mind over matter sci-fi flicks which makes you think rather than yawningly stare at CGI.
Sarah Snook is a discovery, I will love to see more of her in other movies. Ethan Hawke's portrayal was also pretty good, so was Noah Taylor. Overall, a sci-fi movie you should watch if you're bored with, you know, time travel flicks.
