Review of Predestination (2013) by Richard B — 28 Aug 2015

I liked this sci-fi film as it was smartly made and the first half of it was unique as it was just one person telling another person a story. The story is kind of small and very large at the same time; it's small as there aren't that many characters and only really 3 actors so when they hide people's faces for shock later, you know it has to be one of them.

Ethan Hawke does a great job in his role, but it's really the unknown Sarah Snook who is the star of the film. Overall a film that really surprised me as I didn't know much about it going in, but I would have preferred a few more characters and even Red Hearings to make the twists and turns pay off more than they did.
