The year is 1990 & the film starts off to be the year 2012; the city of L.A is over ran by gang wars; the violence grows constantly; the gangs grow stronger & the press reports that the police are growing weaker; out gunned & outnumbered. One force of the police stands in their way: Lieutenant Mike Horrigan.

(Danny Glover).

Another player arrives in town that is drawn to conflict; both the police & the gangs will find him to be both elusive & deadly. Shortly upon arriving in L.A this new player is followed by a group led by Peter Keyes.

(Gary Busey).

That claims to be the D.E.A... Well they claim that they have come into stop King Willis Jamaican.

Voodoo gang from taking over the entire west coast. Lieutenant Mike Horrigan.

Will learn that whoever they are they are not the D.E.A...

The predator wreaks havoc on the kingpins of L.A & any other arms with guns that get in his way. Much to Lieutenant Horrigan's aggravation he is told to stand-down & let Federal agents handle the crime scenes that would usually be in his jurisdiction. The recalcitrant Lieutenant has a dislike for yielding to the feds without good reason; he defies these orders; He comes into conflict with agent Keyes & finds who the new player in town is.

The pluses (+) for this film are: the action scenes were all well choreographed & the predator has an upgrade of toys from the original film. Danny Glover gave a great performance as Lieutenant Mike Horrigan as did Gary Busey playing Peter Keyes. Alan Silvestri did such a wonderful job of composing the soundtrack of the original film the producers of this film choose to use it again to invigorate the moments of suspense & the moments of sadness.

The minuses' (-) for this film are: the gutter talk was absolutely hideous. This is not a film that a young kid should be watching. The gutter talk could even bother some adult's; it was excessive.
