Review of Predator 2 (1990) by Nick E — 26 Jan 2012
The first 'Predator' wreaked havoc in the jungle and struck box-office gold, so Hollywood now decided that 'Predator 2' should raise hell in the big, bad city of Los Angeles. That's right - it's a near-future L.
A. in 1997, the never-ending battleground of street gangs and drug lords. And in the middle of the battle is the familiar extraterrestrial villain who lives to hunt its victims and is protected by an invisibility cloak.
Though Schwarzenegger didn't return for this action-packed sequel, our newest hero - Danny Glover - is a cop who defies a government goon to fight the city's crime; his acting performance is as good as his predecessor's.
And so does this film...I like it! Yes, I know there is a 'Alien vs. Predator' crossover franchise, but let's not forget that there is also a 'Predators' that came out in 2010. I want to see both of them.
