Review of Predator 2 (1990) by Ennis Brokeback L — 13 Sep 2012
Predator 2 isn't as good as Predator, No secret there. But is Predator 2 as bad as everyone claims? I don't see how it is. After giving it a re-watch the other day I struggled to see what it was about this movie that everyone hated so much.
I mean as far as sequels go it ticked a lot of the right boxes. A change in scenery, more predators, more blood, titties and a guy named Bill Paxton. Considering this was 1990 I can't imagine it could've done much better.
They'd have been foolish to try and replicate the cast and story of the epic first movie, and had they done that, no doubt Predator 2 would've been much worse. Flawed yes, especially by today's standards, but as bad as everyone says.
I don't think so.
