Review of Predator (1987) by Sam C — 11 May 2012

Predator is one of the best action movies ever made and definitely one of the best 80s movies. Predator is about a special forces group, led by Maj. Alan "Dutch" Schaefer, who are sent to the jungle to rescues some hostages that are being held by some guerrillas.

When they enter the jungle the encounter the guerrillas but that's not the only thing that they find. After the deal with the guerrillas they have to get to a safe spot to get picked up by some choppers but they start to get picked of one by one by something that's not human.

Now this special forces team is put to the ultimate test by seeing if the can survive this Predator that's hunting them down. The 80s is by far one of the best time periods of movie history because there were been so many classics that were made during the 80s and Predator was one of them.

When it comes to awesome Sci-Fi adventure movie that have bad-ass creature Predator would be on that list to. The first two Alien movie were magnificent because of the suspense, story, creature, and action and Predator has all of that and turns out to be a magnificent movie as well.

The story is very simple and it worked very well. This movie never had one dull moment and always kept me on the edge of my seat. What made me stay one edge of my seat is that this movie had so many suspenseful scenes and so many thrilling moments.

Another thing that makes this movie so good is that this movie has some terrific action that is sure to entertain anyone who watches this movie. With all the suspenseful/ thrilling moment and all the action in this movie is why this movie never bored me at all.

This movie has a terrific cast which include none other than Arnold Schwarzenegger himself. Arnold has given many great performances but in this movie he just gives a terrific performance. This is by far one of his best performances because he's a total bad-ass cause he shows no fear and has many classic quotes just like any other Schwarzenegger classic.

This movie also has a terrific supporting cast that includes Carl Weather, Bill Duke, Jesse Ventura, Sonny Landham, Richard Chaves, Shane Black, and Kevin Peter Hall who plays the Predator. Overall Predator is a classic Sci-Fi film that I highly recommend to anyone who enjoys action or horror movies or to anyone who just wants to watch a great movie.
