Review of Predator (1987) by Jeremy H — 23 Jun 2012
This is basically the top pf the line of its kind. A very well designed monster picks one by one the main characters that are not wuite developed, but have enough carisma to make you feel for them. Schwartzenegger in his prime, is joined by also future governor Jessee Ventura, Rocky's Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers) and the guy who would write Lethal Weapon (Shane Black)... All of them directed by the guy who'd bring Die Hard to the world.
The fil has aged very well, if not because of the music score, which becomes more of a drag as the film advances.
