It's like the action movie lover's answer to Alien. who could not love a survival action movie led by Arnold...against a high tech superalien warrior. It could be considered corny at times, some of the dialogue falls flat but it's fine.

We're not watching these military guys recite shakespeare. It's the ultimate party for actioners, scifi heads and even the horroreeks! Plus carl weathers and jesse ventura make this a triple threat with arnold!!! thank you john mctiernan!
