_Predator_ is a defining movie for its genre. Action movies have a hard time being taken seriously and I get that, but this movie is exactly what it wanted to be and what it should be. If you want a drama with 100% professional, serious, acting, then watch the amazing _Unforgiven_ or _The Town_.
If you want a monster/action/alien movie with a sense of humor and some serious thrills, this is one of the best.
