Review of Predator (1987) by Greg H — 21 May 2014
Although Alien inspired a gluttony of man vs alien movies, this is one that is truly a great movie in its own right. Arnold Schwarzenegger heads a Special Ops team into the jungle to rescue some fallen soldiers only to discover they are being hunted by some extra-terrestial game hunter.
A tense, thrilling score, accompanying lush jungle photography play backdrop to a truly menacing monster from Stan Winston. Awesome supporting cast too.
