Review of Predator (1987) by Vadim D — 05 Apr 2015
The film serves as a launching pad for a now-iconic alien monster, and while the 80s action machismo is fun to watch in retro sort of way, the film itself is slim on a storyline. It could have been much better if we got an origins story or some sort of suspense building off the villain.
Instead it's more of a straight action flick with some horror elements. Arnold is in great form here and perhaps serves as one of his better roles.
