Review of Predator (1987) by Helga H — 01 Dec 2011

Predator still holds up today, which says a lot. It's chilling sci-fi done very well. Arnie's convincing and does a great job of being the strong guy whose cameraderie with his men helps you like the characters.

Because you're able to like them makes the fear factor even more powerful as they're being picked off one by one. The Predator himself is innovative in his appearance, and believable. The story line is strong and consistant.

The movie worked on all levels and is one that's possible to watch many times. It is never dull.
