Review of Predator (1987) by Isaac C — 13 Apr 2014
"They are up against an even deadlier enemy than the Central American guerrillas...".
****.
The film stars legendary action star actor Arnold Swarchenegger as major Dutch; leader of an elite commando team; one of the best in the business him & his team have-been called in & asked to take the rescue job of cabinet administer in hostile Central American territory by an old friend & former comrade Dillon; played by Carl Weathers.
Once in the jungle Dutch & his team quickly find-out that the mission was not what they were lead to believe. On top of the fact of being lied to, they find out that they are up against an even deadlier enemy than the Central American guerrillas they-were-sent in to defeat.
If you were a critic & you had never seen the trailer to the movie; seeing it for the first time at the opening scene you would know it is about an alien.
There were a few good pluses (+) for this movie. The seating location in the Mexican Jungle.
(Meant to be Central America in the movie).
Was a very good location that had a lot of good photography scenes. The sound track of this movie-was-well done to fit the moods of the moment, & the cast had a good time making the film.
~.
I Give this action film a B + (Bright).
