Brilliant! This movie did NOT win enough awards last year, I can tell you that! But damn, it's hard to watch. The ugliness of this story is not covered up with pretty at all. The cast is spectacular (Gabourey Sidibe, Mo'Nique iin particular).
And Mariah Carey (speaking of not covered up with pretty) showed something I've never seen in her before and I can only say I hope she does it again!
