I watched Precious last night and was blown away by the performances. At first Precious didn't seem very Precious to me at all, a little rough around the edges, but when she came to the Principal's Office and talked to her about her second pregnancy, and when she came home to her Mom I felt so bad for her.

Mo'nique was incredible as her mom. That Oscar was very well deserved. I liked how Precious never turned away from things that happen in real life. I was so happy to see Precious taking care of her kids and being a good mom when her mom wasn't.

I honestly can't believe how evil her Mom was. Thank God for the social worker and Ms. Rain! It was great to see Precious overcome and feel like she belonged. After the movie I felt like something was missing, but I don't know what.

Overall I loved Precious and would reccomend it to everyone, it's not as graphic as it seems so don't be afraid to watch it.
