This is a hard film to watch, and I mean that as high praise. The subject matter is very difficult to talk about, but the film does so with an amazing amount of grace. Good writing, great acting.
I would have liked it if the film had a bit more levity, just to remind the audience that the character's spirits haven't been completely crushed. I also found myself trying to distance myself from these characters, which a great film shouldn't do.
Recommended, but only to those who can handle it.
