WHOA! I usually don't watch too many of these type of dramatic films but somehow this one caught my eye and my heart as well. I see it as an African-American version of Cinderella set in the real-life world.
Truly is a touching, very moving, and passionate movie. I love the variety of cast members of both familiar and new faces. Gabourey did her thing playing the role of Precious! Great job on Mariah Carey's part, hardly recognize her! Paula is hot! Never have I witness a movie that touched on just about every little issue in our society.
I like how it was not too serious but had some humor, romance, and a little fantasy too. I mean really though, for the serious parts, this film had me with teary eyes at some scenes lol. I think I like these type of movies that pertain to the real world but only a few of them lol.
Still love my Fiction lol. Probably the only movie of its genre I will put in my favorite list, the ONLY! In my opinion, it is the movie of the year!
