Review of Pray for Rain (2017) by Njc — 22 Aug 2017
A thin story which piggy-backs on an interesting environmental thread. The film tries to be a murder-mystery, heart-warming family feel-good, romance, thriller and numerous other genres all rolled into one.
Despite the pull of Jane Seymour, the end result is disappointing and fails to address the real environmental issues of over-farming and water management in the central valley of the USA.
