Review of Practical Magic (1998) by Peggy R — 14 Jan 2010
I'd have to say I love this movie. The fact that Sandra made a potion to find a guy she loves and the fact that through everything else, she still meets him. AND it wasn't a spell to make him fall for her, it was just so she can meet him.
I did not like what Nicole went through that situation is never fun for anyone.
They did bad magic which I did not like, and I Did not like how they made wiccans look like (I am wiccan myself and proud to say so) but all in all I liked the movie. It really makes you think about alot. The acting in it was awesome, so was the story line to an extent. It could've had a better stronger story line, but all in all the movie was good, and it is in my collection!
Very good movie. A must see! If you wanan go down a spiritual awakening to what can happen, I'd rather watch this over "The Craft" any day but both are good movies!
What I liked most was the fact that they made a mistake, the older family walked back and didn't help and they had to dig themselves out of the hole they dug themselves into. The amazing thing is, They actually did it! After help from everyone when they realized what they had done was wrong and immoral! It was all an accident anyways. But that just goes to show what getting carreid away can do.
