Review of Practical Magic (1998) by Siobhan B — 23 Oct 2008
Adding the traditions of witch myths and new philosophies to a cauldron of mischief.
This film should be in every girls collection.
And if a guy was to watch it think himself lucky he's not made watch pretty in pink...its a good laugh and definitely one for a girls night in.
Sandra is in her usual caotic role and Nicole's character is leading a free and high spirited life, something we're not used to seeing her in.
I loved that it was mainly based around the women and how they cope and how the bonds of family grow.
The men are a big part of the story but are only the instruments. It's main themes are family bonds!
