Review of Power Rangers (2017) by Jarody — 13 Jan 2018

Another genuine surprise for me this year, while a lot of movies were awful this year, quite a lot of movies were way better than they had any right to be- like Power Rangers. The child actors actually put in some very good performances and have excellent chemistry with each other, and while cheesy at times, the dialogue is decent too.

However, like most action movies, it does have some issues. The ending was a bit dissapointing for me, it just felt as there was no build up to it, and the villian is not fleshed out at all. The CGI is ok, but there were slight issues with the quality.

In short, this movie has a good plot, good characters and is definetly worth a watch, and is overall just a good time, but nothing special.
