Review of Power and Terror: Noam Chomsky in Our Times (2002) by Jordan S — 27 Sep 2007
The title sounds so impressive, like a powerful essay. The film however, is crap. It's as if someone took footage of a few Chomsky speeches, used his Mac to stitch it all into a long montage and threw some music on the soundtrack. You'd be better off going to Youtube and typing Chomsky in the search engine. Chomsky's speeches themself are intelligent and powerful as always, but this film is too poorly made to do him any justice.
Watch Manufacturing Consent instead, now THAT is good.
