Review of Powder Blue (2009) by Darin W — 18 Feb 2010
Following a handful of characters over the Christmas period in LA. Each with a dark and gloomy existence with little chance of hope. There was a really rich quality to this film and on occasion I felt I was right there in the middle of it.
Forest Whitaker was great as the pained and desperate Charlie trying to find someone to take his life and Jessica Bielâ??s performance was surprising and will make me look out for her in future roles.
All together it gave me just enough intrigue to keep watching without ever really getting bored.
