Enormously enjoyable. Colourful, very amusing, very cheeky - lots of fun. The cast is charming and Catherine Deneuve in particular really looks as though she is enjoying herself. Gerard Depardieu is really very unpleasant to look at but he too shines in this film.
This is a very unique film.
