Review of Potiche (1983) by Diego R — 21 May 2011
Potiche is set in France, during the 70's. As usual, François Ozon is very good to set a very entertaining atmosphere during the whole movie but the story and the script is lacking of interest. It is depicting the life of Suzanne, good and very simple-minded wife of a very capitalist business man.
Due to a misbehavior of her husband, she will have to become the CEO of the company and will succeed to be a very good business woman. So in fact we are following the accesion of Suzanne to the business world and even politic world.
.. I think the movie wasn't bad but it misses the crazyness of Ozon in it...
