Review of Pot o' Gold (1941) by Stefanie R — 03 Jun 2010
This is a funny musical comedy that stars James Stewart. Basic plot is a nephew comes to the big city to work at his uncle company. But a mix up happens and he befriends this musical family that his uncle is feuding with.
This leads to many funny situations. James Stewart is great in this. He is very funny in his role. He even sings in this. His character plays the harmonica in this but I am unsure if he is just pretending to play or is actually doing it.
This movie is full of musical numbers. The rest of the cast are very funny in this. The story is over the top but it works for this movie. If you like James Stewart, musicals and classic black and white movies then check this film out.
