Review of Postman (1995) by Nicolas L — 28 Nov 2008
I was going through some old VHS's and this movie struck me because I never seen it. So I pop in in my VHS player and watch it. Fancinated by the storyline I have to keep watching it. The setting is 2012 after a major recession colapsed the whole minority of the American Goverment. People lived and people died. The people that lived kept the memories passing it on to the next genoration of people. A army creates a rule that there is no such thing as America.
Kevin Costner is recruited into this army without his willingness to do so and after he enters it he later escapes. He then finds a dead postalman and decides to takes his place and wear his suit, heaqd off to the next town and give the unreiceved mail the he retrieved to the citizens in the next town. He is then founded a savour and so on and so on. Anyways this is a fairly good movie.
