Review of Postman (1995) by Steve S — 11 Apr 2009
'WELL DONE AGAIN MR COSTNER!' I like this movie, the whole idea of how a nobody can bring so much hope to humanity, after such a terrible event like a third world war! Also on the flip side shows how there is always some power hungry person, who will take advantage of said situation, to tickle their ego and oppress others... Two great preformances, by both Costner (The Postman) and Will Patton (General Bethlehem), this along with great cinematography, and a interesting storyline makes for a very watchable movie...
I don't care what people say about him, I think he's a great actor, seen alot worse!!! I mean who can dispute movies like 'Dances With Wolves', 'Field Of Dreams', and 'Open Range', all EXCELLENT Costner movies...
