Review of Postman (1995) by Jorge B — 21 Jan 2010
Starts well, with an interesting reimagination of America's Civil War in sci-fi sauce, then strips the story of everything there is to love in post-apocalyptic fiction. Instead the grim, rebellious social criticisim you strive for, you find the worst, oldest, rotten celebration of the System's values.
Too much Kevinkostnerhood for his own good: irredemable.
