Review of Poster Girl (2010) by Ida K — 29 Mar 2012
Only about 40 mins long, but who likes a film or doc that drags things on too long? A short but evocative doc of a PTSD sufferer and Iraq War's daily frustrations with the army and her experiences as a combat soldier, as well as her road to recovery with the help of family, friends and art.
A solid doc that touches on the serious and all too common issue of PTSD in combat vets, but form the perspective of an early 20 something former high school cheerleader turned US Army Sargent.
