Review of Postcards from the Edge (1990) by David S — 25 Mar 2007
A well acted drama based on Carrie Fisher's novel this centres on the relationship between drug addicted actress (Meryl Streep) and her overbearing mother (Shirley Maclaine). The actresses work well together, though sadly this film doesn't really go anywhere though it's very interesting to see Meryl Streep singing, which she does rather well.
