Review of Postcards from the Edge (1990) by Karina H — 21 Feb 2010
I'll file this one under yet another Mike Nichol's breezy, quirky could've been a one woman show films along with 'Charlie Wilson's War'. Carrie Fisher's script has many touching moments and a very funny Streep bounces off of McClaine's charisma very well but in the end it adds up to a wisp of a movie with pleasant graces and that's about all.
There's nothing wrong with that though.
