Based on a very autobiographical script from Carrie Fisher that undoubtedly involves her famous mother Debbie Reymolds, Mike Nichols directs two top actresses in this wonderful little movie. Meryl Streep racked up another Oscar nod for her role as a frazzled daughter to Shirley MacLaine.
