Review of Postal (2007) by Corey P — 26 Aug 2008
A uwe boll film worth watching. Something I never thought would happen, but its pretty funny. Alot comes from bieng funny in ways no other director would conisder, and realizing that so many people hate uwe boll, and using that. All indications were that this movie would fail completely, and in some parts it does. But for the most part the sheer obsurdity and unpredictableness of the plot makes it work.
Every thing you should never talk about and never do in a movie does happen. The mistakes Uwe Boll's video game films are littered with dont come through the same. It could be that Postal had little plot to ruin, or even alot of depth as I understand it. The games designer has a cameo in the film, he attacks Uwe Boll and tries to kill him, so its really hard to think of this in terms of " he fails tha game". And I even feel a little less dissapointed in him for some of his movies. Except Bloodrayne, cause wtf, that movie annoys me on so many levels.
