Review of Post Grad (2009) by Estrella P — 16 Jan 2010
The filmmakers of Post Grad had low ambitions for thier film, although it's a stretch to say that even mediocrity was achieved. The movie's not as much of a mess as I Love You Beth Cooper but comes close, featuring every cliche from every other movie about emerging adulthood.
Had the cliches been playing in harmony with one another it might have worked, but as it is, it looks and sounds like a bunch of out-of-tune instruments that can not play together. A star apiece for Bledel and Gilford, who deserve better than this.
