I wanted to see this because, well, I tend to love both Alexis Bledel and Michael Keaton in whatever I see. Plus it's the storyline is very easy to relate to, as I'm sure I'll be Ryden when I graduate college-especially since our majors are very similar.
When I walked out the theatre, I was very pleasantly surprised. I'd kind of expected this movie to be "all about Ryden" and not the only family--which is definitely was. I loved how every member of the ensemble cast was well involved in the movie. :) Made me wish I had a family like that...and a handsome neighbor like Rodrigo Santoro. ;).
But definitely a chick flick. I'd be surprised if any guys bothered to sit through it. ;).
