Post Grad is a girl's coming of age story (not that common, if you think about it). A friend once told me that you can start thinking of a male character, and mid-way switch sexes to see how it would pan out.
I have a feeling something like this was attempted here... A rather obvious story for a guy out of college is given the Alexis touch. It falls flat. Hardly anything seems to change from the beginning to the end as she blunders through her life.
The performances fail to evince any emotion in the viewer. One sleepwalks through the movie hoping that something might happen. Overall, rather unconvincing and pointless.
