Review of Post Grad (2009) by Carolyn G — 04 Mar 2011
Okay so, what can I say about this movie? Well first of all I would like to say that I did like it, unlike many critics. And something I that I would really like to say about this film is that I can somewhat relate with the main characterâ(TM)s conflict, even though she is a girl. The fact that she canâ(TM)t find a job is something that I feel that not only I but everybody else can relate to these days, so thank you for exposing that writer Kelly Fremon. Without a doubt almost everybody who graduates out of college now-a-days has this problem. And you donâ(TM)t even need to graduate just trying to find a simple job at McDonaldâ(TM)s is hard today.
Now back to the film. The movie I found it to be a quite original even if it has the typical ending where the girl ends up with the guy she loves or vice versa. I found all the characters to be original and fun, none of them are really outstanding but in their own way they are all great characters. All of them are awkward but then again the film itself has a weird tone.
Overall the film isnâ(TM)t something amazing but it is a fun movie. If you are a fan of weird yet great comedies like Juno and Nick and Norahâ(TM)s Infinite Playlist then I think you will like this picture.
P.S. Alexis Bledel is freaking beautiful.
Rating: 3 stars out of 5.
