Review of Post Grad (2009) by Julius L — 19 Feb 2010
What a delightful and charming film about the trials and tribulations of a recent college graduate played by Alexis Bledel who lights up the screen.
Ryden Malby (Bledel) had a plan. Do well in high school, thereby receiving a great college scholarship. Now that sheâ??s finally graduated, itâ??s time for her to find a gorgeous loft apartment and land her dream job at the cityâ??s best publishing house. But when Jessica Bard (Reitman), Rydenâ??s college nemesis steals her perfect job, Ryden is forced to move back to her childhood home. Its funny, cute, and amusing. Good performances by Michael Keaton as Ryden's father and Jane Lynch as her mother. Despite the negative reviews I liked it, and shows you how brutal the interview process can be for college grads seeking employment. Added to my private collection and I do recommend it!
