Review of Possession (1987) by Heather R — 04 Dec 2006

The Victorian sub-plot is brilliantly done and very true to the book. The contemporary plot, however, made me quite annoyed cos it missed out (what I had felt were) important characters from the novel and there were parts that were all twisted and it seemed as if sometimes the director was totally unaware of the story he was basing this on.

That said, it's still pretty good and likely seem great to anyone who hasn't read the book.
