When you make a remake like this I feel you need to contribute something new, which I did not get out of this. The beginning and middle of the movie are well done. It just felt like they ran out of money towards the end of the movie and wrapped it as quick as they could.
Some very questionable underwater swimming scenes where the actors seemed to be able to hold breath for endless periods. When they do get off ship rescue is made in moments, just felt like the ending was rushed.
