Review of Porky's II: The Next Day (1983) by Jose C — 06 Apr 2008
The crew of Porky's return for the day after. This time the teen pranksters face a team of religious fanatics, corrupt politicians, and the KKK who are trying to shut down their production of Shakespeare.
The laughs aren't there as much as they were for the first film, although the racism message is still quite prevalent. The highlight is at the end of the movie when the pranks start rolling. I didn't enjoy this film as much as the first, but it was still a fun ride, and it was nice to see the whole cast return for this sequel.
