Even though this is billed as the first lonely island movie, technically Hot Rod was, as that had basically the same cast and the same director. BTW I love Hot Rod, it might be my favorite comedy of all time, and while Popstar isn't as funny as that, despite having a way bigger budget and like 100 famous cameos, it's still pretty damn funny, I laughed quite a bit, both at the jokes and at Conner's "songs" Sanberg is really good in the lead, and I liked seeing him and the other lonely island members together, tho some actors like Joan Cusack and Imogen Poots are barely used, probably since it's a super short movie, though to be fair any longer and it'd feel too long, overall I'd recommend, probably the funniest 2016 movie I've seen so far.
