Akiva Schaffer & Jorma Taccone's 'Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping' (2016) is a funny mockumentary that you've probably already seen. The film is alright, it just doesn't hit hard enough with its humour; the jokes really needed to step further over the line.
Just like The Lonely Island's previous film 'Hot Rod' (2007), 'Popstar' feels like a film destined for future cult status, never reaching the levels destined for mainstream longevity.
