"Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping" is a welcome new entry in the music mockumentary genre, a goofy satire on the modern pop music industry that features a long cameo list, functioning humour and some pretty hilarious songs.
It does what it says on the tin, and does it well - nothing more, nothing less. The Lonely Island's brand of comedy is herein represented pretty well through both the script and the music but, coupled with a fairly predictable plot, remains arguably limited.
