Review of Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping (2016) by Bianca J — 29 May 2016
I had a chance to see this early and was very surprised. It reminded me a lot of a early to mid 2000s comedy where it focuses more on the main character as opposed to jokes. This aspect of the film brings a style and presence that the modern Paul Feig comedy lacks by actually putting characters into the movie.
It takes a while to be laugh out loud funny but if given a chance this movie will surprise you with its substance.
