Review of Pope Joan (2009) by Sergio C — 14 Mar 2011

This film caught my attention because I'm so interesting about this legend that there ever was a woman who became Pope of Catholic Church. I think the story was well conducted, showing the reality of what was the clergy at the time, without ever falling into disrepute of the Church.

It's a good movie even has a few epic battles and I really liked the costumes and outdoor stages. The special effects were very poor, I saw some problems with the graphs of the cities in CGI, and also problems in continuity and editing, but worth seeing the film.
