Hardly a cause for guilt or embarrassment, this is a straight-up, no-holds-barred, straight-to-the-gut absurdist comedy. It's even crazier than Half Baked, another insane, mostly retarded slam dunk for satire.
Pootie Tang doesn't have quite the same hold on its audience, since it gets a bit distracted between funky blaxploitation and Onion-esque liberal rage, but it has a cast of brilliant and hard-working comics that do their best to keep it all together.
