Review of Poor Cow (1967) by Les E — 09 Apr 2009
Runs more like a documentary with an ab-lib script about a young mothers life. Shows the other side of the swinging 60's in all it's grim reality. All the leads are super and seem very natural.
Bindon was a gangster in real life so had a bit of a head start. Right up there with the best of British from that era.
