This is more of a 3 star movie but after countless viewings at work, I have to give it an extra star just for being so quotable and amusing. Chazz Palminteri plays a world-class asshole and Chris Walken really classes up the movie, but I can't say much for the rest of the cast.
I love pool too, so I'm kinda biased. Poolhall Junkies isn't as classy as the Hustler or as ballsy as The Color of Money, but hey, it's got the maturity of American Pie. That counts for something, right? Plus it's got a lot of other semi-celebs: Keno from Ninja Turtles II? Clint Eastwood's daughter?? Rickie Schroder??? SOLID.
